Privacy Policy

Carwash Manager ("we", "us") values your privacy highly and handles personal data with care, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). In this privacy policy you can read which data we process, for what purpose, with whom we share it and what rights you have.

1. Who are we?

2. Two roles

We process personal data in two roles:

• As controller — for the data of visitors to carwashmanager.app and of car wash operators who register for our software.
• As processor — for the data that connected car washes process via the platform (for example data of their customers). For that, the car wash is the controller and we process the data solely on instruction, on the basis of a data processing agreement.

3. Which data do we process?

As controller we process, among other things:

• Registration data: name, company name, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, desired web address.
• Payment data: processed via our payment service provider Mollie; we do not store full payment details ourselves.
• Usage and website data: IP address, device and browser data and cookie data (see our cookie policy).

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Performance of the agreement — creating and managing your account, invoicing and support.
• Legitimate interest — improving and securing our service and preventing misuse.
• Consent — analytical and marketing cookies (we place these only after your agreement).
• Legal obligation — for example the statutory retention obligation for records.

5. Retention periods

We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. We keep administrative and invoicing data in accordance with the statutory retention obligation (7 years). Other data we delete when it is no longer needed or at your request.

6. Sharing with third parties (processors)

We share data only with parties that help us deliver the service, with appropriate safeguards and data processing agreements:

• Mollie — payments and direct debit.
• Supabase — database and hosting of the application.
• Netlify — hosting of the website/application.
• Resend — sending of emails.
• Google — advertising and statistics (only after cookie consent).

We never sell your data. If data is processed outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses).

7. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive keys and secured access.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your data, and you can always withdraw a consent given. Send your request to info@carwashmanager.app. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

For cookies and similar techniques we refer to our cookie policy.

10. Changes

We may amend this privacy policy. The most current version is always on this page.
